About Me

"Being a psychotherapist is
a calling. I am passionate about what I do."

I am a registered Psychoanalytic / Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. This means I have undertaken training which meets the professional standard of proficiency and I work within the code of ethics set out in the UKCP Ethical Principles and Code of Professional Conduct (2009) and BACP Ethical Framework.

Before training to become a therapist, I worked for most of my life in the professional services sector in the City. I have also trained as an actor. Beyond my clinical qualifications (see below) I therefore have a wide-ranging body of experience that I can draw upon in my practice - and I’m particularly well-placed to understand the pressures of a working life in the City and the demands of the creative process.

My therapeutic practice is also informed by lived experience of loss and trauma, which enables me to support my clients with both empathy and understanding.
